Celebrated Ghanaian gospel musician and public servant, Daniel Asamoah, popularly known as “The Singing Prophet” of “Di Yen Anim” fame, has achieved a remarkable academic milestone by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health from the Livingstone International University of Tourism Excellence and Business Management (LIUTEBM) in Lusaka, Zambia.

The graduation ceremony, held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre, brought together distinguished scholars and professionals from across Africa.

Dr. Asamoah, who also serves as a senior staff member at the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA), completed his dissertation on “Healthcare Facilities Regulations in Ghana: Compliance and Challenges.” His research is expected to contribute significantly to public health policy and strengthen healthcare facility regulation in Ghana.

With extensive expertise in healthcare facility establishment, regulatory frameworks, and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Dr. Asamoah’s success underscores his ability to merge music, public service, and academia while remaining committed to improving Ghana’s healthcare system.

Dr. Asamoah was one of twelve Ghanaians who earned PhDs at the ceremony, a feat that highlights Ghana’s growing academic influence on the global stage. The other graduates include:
