As a child, Fella helped her mother sell bread. Though her upbringing was modest, her ambitions were anything but small. Determined to create a better future, she worked hard and saved enough to move to Accra in search of stardom. At first, she stayed with a close friend from senior high school, but that situation took an unexpected turn.

“I was staying with my close senior high friend, and one day she just said I should leave,” Fella recalled. “There was no argument, no misunderstanding she just woke up one morning and told me to go.”

Left stranded without shelter or financial support, Fella had no choice but to return to the Volta Region. Rather than let the experience defeat her, she used it as motivation to chase her dreams even more fiercely.

Her persistence soon paid off. Upon returning to Accra, Fella landed her breakthrough role in the widely acclaimed youth series YOLO. The show catapulted her into the spotlight, paving the way for numerous opportunities in acting and entrepreneurship.

Today, Fella Makafui is not only a celebrated actress but also a thriving businesswoman and proud mother. She describes her journey as one of resilience and self-belief a story that continues to inspire countless young Ghanaians striving to overcome adversity and follow their dreams.
