Ghanaian musician Fameye and his former manager, Ogidi Brown, have had a rocky professional relationship that gained significant public attention. Their partnership began in 2018 when Fameye signed a five-year contract with OGB Music, a deal worth $50,000 meant to cover his management and music-related expenses.

However, by 2020, tensions arose over financial disagreements, with Ogidi Brown accusing Fameye of failing to account for certain performances and not honoring the financial commitments in their contract. The situation escalated when Ogidi Brown publicly threatened to take Fameye to the Antoa shrine, a well-known spiritual site in the Ashanti Region, to invoke curses on him if the alleged debt remained unpaid.

This move demonstrated how deeply rooted traditional spiritual beliefs can be in resolving disputes in Ghana. In December 2020, the feud reached a peak when Ogidi Brown visited Antoa, declaring his frustrations and his decision to seek spiritual justice. This dramatic turn of events stirred conversations within the entertainment industry about contractual disagreements, money disputes, and the influence of cultural beliefs in business conflicts.

Despite the intense standoff, both parties eventually recognized the need for a peaceful resolution. Fameye and Ogidi Brown later met and mutually agreed to settle their differences, officially parting ways. Fameye expressed gratitude for the role OGB Music played in his career, acknowledging the support he received despite their fallout.

Both have since moved on, focusing on their individual projects, with Fameye continuing to make strides in his music career and Ogidi Brown managing his label. Their story highlights the challenges that can arise in the music industry, emphasizing the need for clear contracts, open communication, and amicable conflict resolution strategies to avoid disputes that could harm both parties’ reputations and careers.
