Every Word Matters, Speak Wisely – Daughters Of Glorious Jesus Advise Artistes
Legendary Ghanaian gospel group, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, have shared a heartfelt message to fellow musicians, especially the younger generation, urging them to be mindful of their words both on and off stage.
Speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, the trio made up of Cynthia Appiadu, Edna Sarpong, and Monica Owusu Ansah emphasized that every word an artiste speaks carries weight and can either uplift or destroy.

According to the group, musicians are public figures and role models whose words influence their fans and society at large. They therefore encouraged artistes to choose their words carefully, particularly when addressing sensitive issues or responding to criticism.
“Every word counts, and once it’s spoken, you can’t take it back. As artistes, we must speak with wisdom because people look up to us. What we say can inspire or mislead, so we need to be very careful,” they advised.

The award-winning group also noted that in the age of social media, where comments spread fast, artistes must show emotional maturity and avoid being drawn into unnecessary controversies.
“Social media has made it easy for people to react quickly, but as public figures, we should think before we speak or post. Wisdom and patience go a long way in maintaining a good image,” they added.
The Daughters of Glorious Jesus, known for timeless gospel hits like Wo Ntaban, Yesu Mo, and Adom Ben Ni, have been in ministry for over three decades and continue to inspire generations with their music and message of faith, humility, and godly living.

Their reminder to artistes reinforces the importance of character, respect, and wise communication in sustaining a long-lasting and respected career in the entertainment industry
