Economic Hardship Making It Difficult for Young People To Worship God – Perez Musik
Ghanaian gospel artiste Frank Tagoe, popularly known as Perez Musik, has raised concerns about how the country’s current economic challenges are affecting the spiritual lives of young people.
Speaking in an interview with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, the award-winning musician said many youths are struggling to worship God genuinely because of financial hardship and unemployment.

According to him, the daily struggle to survive has made it difficult for many to stay committed to church and spiritual activities. “One thing that’s making it difficult for them to worship is hunger,” Perez Musik stated.
The “Kaafo” hitmaker urged churches and society to pay more attention to the physical and emotional needs of young people. He added that while spiritual growth is essential, empowering the youth economically is equally vital to help them remain devoted to God.

Perez Musik emphasized that the church’s mission should go beyond preaching, calling on faith leaders to develop initiatives that support young people’s welfare and overall growth.
