DOVVSU Boss ACP Owusuwaa Kyeremeh Engages Chiefs And Queens To Tackle Gender-Based Violence

Our esteemed Chiefs and Queens remain among the most vital stakeholders in the fight against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), both in Ghana and globally. Their cultural influence, moral authority, and proximity to grassroots communities position them uniquely to lead the charge against harmful practices and societal norms that perpetuate abuse.

Their longstanding contributions to addressing gender-based violence and related social issues have been commendable and deeply impactful, offering both advocacy and direct intervention where it matters most.

In a recent engagement, the Director of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU), ACP Owusuwaa Kyeremeh, held a strategic meeting with these respected traditional leaders. The session provided a platform for open dialogue on the current landscape of gender-based violence, challenges faced by the Unit, and how collaborative solutions can be developed.
