Dormaahene Warns Against Galamsey Activities In The Bono Region
Sunyani, Ghana – Osaagyefo Oseadeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II, the Dormaahene, has issued a strong warning against illegal mining activities (galamsey) in the Bono Region. He called on government authorities, local leaders, and law enforcement agencies to take stringent measures to curb the menace and preserve the region’s natural resources for future generations.
In related developments, the Ahafo Regional Minister urged traditional authorities to collaborate in the fight against illegal mining, stressing the need for collective responsibility in tackling the issue.
