Did Your Party Care About Ghanaians When You Imposed Special Import Levy? – DKB Fires At Afenyo-Markin
Ghanaian comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney, popularly known as DKB, has criticized Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin for opposing the government’s proposal to extend the Special Import Levy from 2025 to 2028.
Afenyo-Markin argued that the extension demonstrates a lack of concern for ordinary Ghanaians and importers who anticipated the levy would end in 2025.
In response, DKB highlighted that Afenyo-Markin’s party maintained the levy for eight years during their tenure, questioning whether they cared about Ghanaians at that time.
