Dating Is For Gathering Information, Not Just Mating Or Cuddling – Bishop Agyinasare
The founder and head of Perez Chapel International, Bishop Charles Agyinasare, has cautioned against placing too much focus on sexual intimacy during dating.
In a video shared on February 17, 2025, the renowned Ghanaian pastor stressed that dating should be about learning and understanding one’s partner, not about physical intimacy.
He warned that prioritizing sex in a relationship can cloud judgment and affect rational decision-making.
“Remember that dating is not for mating or for coupling. When you start going out with somebody, it’s not for you to have sex together. Because mating will cloud your judgment. Your period of meeting is the period of gathering data,” Archbishop Agyinasare stated.
He further cautioned that not taking the time to truly understand a partner before marriage could lead to serious challenges later on.
“The truth of the matter is, if you don’t do more work on the person you are going to marry before you marry, you will do more work after the marriage,” he added.
