In a video shared by SIKAOFFICIAL1, Dee Wills reflected on his life’s journey, openly recounting the challenges that shaped him. He paid glowing tribute to his father, acknowledging his steadfast support and unconditional love.

The hip-hop artist spoke candidly about painful chapters of his past, including time spent in prison and periods of hospitalization struggles he has previously made public. Yet, despite these trials, he emphasized his unwavering belief in God’s presence in his life.

His heartfelt words, filled with vulnerability and faith, resonated deeply with many, portraying his story as one of redemption and spiritual renewal. Dee Wills described Archbishop Duncan-Williams, founder of Christian Action Faith Ministries, as a constant pillar of strength.

“My father has been there for me through it all, showing me what true love and faith look like,” he said, crediting his father’s guidance with helping him weather life’s storms.

Dee Wills has long been a controversial figure, frequently making headlines for his highly publicized social media outbursts. At one point, he accused his father of being “a demon,” alleging that the Archbishop once called the police to restrain him when he attempted to leave home.

He also shocked the public by posting explicit videos online, claiming they were a form of self-expression and a way to connect with fans. In June 2020, he alleged that his father disapproved of his rap career and had cut off his financial support.

Following these controversies, Daniel later issued a public apology to his father. In recent years, he has occasionally taken to social media to share sermons, encouraging young people to avoid drugs and destructive lifestyles.

In June 2020, after a series of troubling incidents, the Duncan-Williams family released a statement confirming that Daniel had been living with bipolar disorder for over six years. According to the statement, his failure to consistently take prescribed medication often led to relapses that triggered his erratic behavior online.

Speaking through his spokesperson Bishop Ebenezer Obodai at the time, Archbishop Duncan-Williams admitted that “the obscenities are abhorrent” but urged the public to recognize that his son was battling “a serious illness.”
