Ghanaian highlife musician Dada KD was reportedly turned away from three hospitals due to the unavailability of doctors before his passing on May 16, 2025.

His manager, King Pee, disclosed that they rushed him to multiple medical facilities, but no doctors were available to attend to him. It was only at the fourth hospital, Gbawe SDA Hospital, that he received medical attention, but unfortunately, he passed away shortly after arrival.

This incident has sparked public concern over the state of emergency healthcare services in Ghana, highlighting the critical need for improved medical staffing and infrastructure to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
