Chika Ike Clears Rumors About Ned Nwoko Being Her Child’s Father
Nollywood actress Chika Ike has responded to rumors regarding the father of her unborn child and a potential marriage to Nigerian politician Prince Ned Nwoko.
Taking to Instagram, she denied the speculation that Nwoko is the father of her child and rejected the idea of becoming his seventh wife.

In a post shared on February 18, 2025, alongside photos from her pregnancy shoot, Chika Ike explained that while she has stayed quiet about many rumors in the past, she felt the need to address this one to protect her unborn child’s reputation.
“I’ve had all sorts of lies spread about me in the media for years, but I’ve always treated them as mere rumors that don’t deserve a response. However, this is different; it’s about my child, and only I will choose to disclose anything. Yes, I value my privacy that much!”
“Ned isn’t the father of my child, and whoever’s name you might come up with later in your guessing games,” she said.

Chika Ike further emphasized that she has no plans to settle down with the politician.
“I’ve said it before, I’m not about to be anyone’s seventh wife! Polygamy isn’t for me. I’ve been pregnant for months, and no one had a clue until I made the announcement. Do you really think you’ll know who the father of my child is or anything happening in my life? It’s all laughable and clueless!” she stated.
In response to the rumors, Prince Ned Nwoko issued a statement on February 17, 2025, confirming that he has no intention of adding Chika Ike to his list of wives.
