His post reflects the widespread concern and sorrow felt by those who have witnessed the once-vibrant artist’s condition decline.
Reports indicate that prominent musicians, including renowned music producer Abraham Ohene Djan and former hiplife singer-turned-pastor Evangelist Lord Kenya, have previously attempted to get Okomfo Kwadee the medical help he needs. However, sources claim that opposition from his family has hindered these efforts, making it more challenging to provide him with the necessary care.
At the end of last year, a video surfaced showing Kwadee struggling with his mental health, sparking widespread concern among Ghanaians, many of whom called for urgent assistance.
Born Jerry Anaba, Kwadee rose to fame in the early 2000s with classic hits such as Boyz Boyz, Ofie Nipa, Meko M’anim, Yeko Mmaa Pe, Abrantie, and Ataa Adwoa. His unique style and voice made him a household name and a beloved figure in Ghana’s hiplife music scene.
