By 2028, Ghanaians Will Be Calling For The NPP’s Return To Save The Country – Bawumia
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former Vice President and the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2024 presidential candidate, has expressed confidence that by 2028, Ghanaians will be calling for the NPP’s return to steer the country back on track.
Speaking to party faithful in the Eastern Region during the NPP’s ongoing nationwide Thank You Tour, Dr. Bawumia stated that Ghanaians will, in time, come to appreciate the efforts and achievements of President Akufo-Addo and the NPP government.
“Today, when you look at it, my own boss Nana is not as popular as he once was—right? But I strongly believe that posterity will be kind to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Over time, people will come to recognize the work he has done for Ghana. We may not see it now, but we will,” he said.

He concluded his remarks by thanking party members for their efforts in the 2024 election and encouraged continued unity and commitment: “Thank you all for your efforts in 2024 and for your continued dedication to the NPP. Let us remain united and work to strengthen our great party.”
