Bullgod Claims Shatta Wale Still Owes Him Money And An Apology
Renowned artiste manager Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bullgod, has expressed dissatisfaction with dancehall musician Shatta Wale over unfulfilled obligations stemming from a defamation lawsuit.
In a recent interview, Bullgod revealed that despite a private apology from Shatta Wale, the artist has yet to issue the agreed-upon public apology and settle legal fees as stipulated in their consent judgment. This situation has prompted Bullgod to consider returning to court to enforce compliance
The dispute originated in November 2022 when Shatta Wale publicly accused Bullgod of involvement in the murder of Fennec Okyere, leading Bullgod to file a defamation lawsuit seeking GH¢1 million in damages. The parties later reached an out-of-court settlement requiring Shatta Wale to cover legal expenses and issue a public apology, commitments Bullgod asserts remain unfulfilled.
