Black Sherif unveils the music video, for the popular song “Oil in My Head”
The official music video for “Oil in My Head,” the second single on Ghanaian singer Black Sherif’s critically praised first album “The Villain I Never Was,” has been released.
The Nubuke Foundation art gallery in East Legon, Accra, is where the video’s production company, Babs Direction, shot it.
Briggite Appiah, a high fashion model and actress from Ghana who was born in Libya, is seen in it anointing Sherif’s head with oil.

The video chronicles Sherif’s development as a musician from a struggling artist. It shows Sherif performing in front of five different versions of himself at a dinner table, receiving the “Artiste of the Year” prize at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), and going through the “Hitmaker” series audition process with MTN.
Sherif appears to be moving to a higher dimension of existence as the video comes to a close with him levitated into the sky.
Black Sherif is now enjoying the success of his debut album when the “Oil in My Head” video is released.
Sherif has become one of Ghana’s most promising new performers as a result of the record, which has received accolades from both reviewers and fans.
The song “Oil in My Head” is complemented beautifully by the video, which is a strong and visually magnificent piece of art. Anyone who enjoys Black Sherif or Ghanaian music in general must watch it.
