Black Sherif Attacked? What Went Down On Stage At UG Will Shock You
Ghanaian music star Black Sherif sustained a minor injury during a thrilling performance at the Diaspora Dome, University of Ghana, on Friday, June 14, 2025.
The incident occurred as the artist was electrifying the crowd with one of his hit tracks when an overexcited fan, later identified as Agbovi, breached security and charged onto the stage. Despite attempts by security to intervene, Black Sherif allowed the fan a brief moment to dance alongside him.
Things quickly took a turn when Agbovi clung tightly to the artist, causing Black Sherif to lose his balance and nearly topple into the crowd. Security swiftly removed the fan from the stage, but not before the damage was done.
A visibly stunned Black Sherif paused the show briefly to reveal he had been struck in the mouth, sustaining a cut on his lip. “Hey, Agbovi cut my lip,” he told the audience. Nevertheless, he resumed the performance moments later to loud cheers.
The rest of the concert went smoothly, with a surprise appearance by award-winning rapper Sarkodie, who joined Black Sherif for a high-energy joint performance that had fans roaring.
