Be Friendly With Everybody, Don’t Be Friends With Everybody – Pastor Robert Burale
Kenyan motivational speaker and preacher Pastor Robert Burale has shared an important life lesson about relationships, urging people to understand the difference between being friendly and being friends with everyone.
Speaking during an interview, Pastor Burale explained that while it’s good to show kindness and respect to all, not everyone deserves access to your personal space or inner circle.

“Be friendly with everybody, but don’t be friends with everybody,” he advised. “You can love people, greet them, smile with them — but that doesn’t mean you should trust everyone or bring them too close.”
He emphasized that wisdom in choosing friends is essential for personal growth and peace of mind. “Not everyone who laughs with you wishes you well. Some people are in your life just to gather information, not to add value,” he noted.
Pastor Burale encouraged listeners to practice discernment and maintain healthy boundaries, reminding them that it’s possible to be kind-hearted without being naïve.

His message has resonated widely online, with many praising his practical approach to relationships and emotional maturity.
