Bawumia Hits Ground To Thank Ghanaians For 2024 Election

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2024 presidential candidate, alongside the party’s leadership, will commence a nationwide “Thank You Tour” on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Approved by the NPP’s National Council, the tour is designed to show deep appreciation to party members and the general public for their support before, during, and after the 2024 general elections.

Held under the theme “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), the initiative underscores the party’s gratitude for divine guidance throughout their political journey.

In addition to expressing thanks, the tour offers a chance for Dr. Bawumia and his campaign team to reconnect with supporters at the grassroots level, strengthening unity and reaffirming the party’s commitment to its base.

The tour will cover all sixteen regions, beginning in the Western Region on April 26. Key areas include the Ashanti Region (April 29–May 1) and Greater Accra (May 10–12). The final stop will be the Central Region on June 4, 2025.

Each stop will feature constituency-level engagements aimed at rallying support and reinforcing party solidarity ahead of future activities. The tour will conclude with national thanksgiving services that bring together Christian and Muslim communities in unity.

Party faithful have been encouraged to actively participate in the events within their constituencies as a show of collective appreciation and continued support for the NPP’s vision and journey.
