Bawumia Donates Gh¢200,000 And 1,000 Bags Of Cement To Victims Of Adum Railway Line Fire Disaster
Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated GH₵200,000 and 1,000 bags of cement to support traders affected by the recent fire at the Adum business district in Kumasi.

The fire, which occurred on Friday, March 21, 2025, destroyed numerous shops and goods worth millions of Ghana cedis, leaving many traders in distress.
During his visit to the scene on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, Dr. Bawumia expressed his sympathy to the affected traders and urged private individuals and businesses to assist in rebuilding their livelihoods. He emphasized the importance of patience as the Ghana National Fire Service investigates the cause of the blaze to prevent future occurrences.
Dr. Bawumia was accompanied by NPP Regional Chairman Bernard Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, and other party officials during his visit.
