Barack And Michelle Obama Address Divorce Rumours At Last (video)
Former U.S. President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama have finally addressed ongoing divorce rumours this time with humour.

Appearing together on the latest episode of The Light Podcast, hosted by Michelle and her brother Craig Robinson, the couple laughed off the speculation surrounding their decades-long marriage.
“Wait, you guys like each other?” Craig teased, prompting Michelle to chuckle, “Oh yeah, the rumour mill.” Barack added jokingly, “She took me back. It was touch and go for a while.” When Craig noted how nice it was to see them together, Michelle quipped, “I know, ’cause when we aren’t, folks think we’re divorced.”

Rumours intensified earlier this year after Barack was seen at major events without Michelle, including Jimmy Carter’s funeral and Donald Trump’s second inauguration. Michelle has since explained her absence, saying she now values her independence as her daughters are grown and Barack is no longer in office.

“This stage in life is the first time I’ve felt completely free,” she shared in a 9 July podcast episode.
In the latest episode, she reaffirmed the strength of their marriage:
“There hasn’t been one moment in our marriage where I thought about quittin’ my man… We’ve had hard times, fun times, adventures and I’ve become a better person because of the man I’m married to.”
Married since 1992, the Obamas often share heartfelt messages to each other on social media.
