Arsenal fan arrested, for shining laser at Chelsea’s Mudryk
An Arsenal fan has been arrested for shining a laser in the face of Chelsea player Mykhailo Mudryk during Tuesday’s match at Emirates Stadium.
Mudryk, who turned down a move to Arsenal to join Chelsea for £88.5million in January, was targeted on his first appearance at the stadium.
He was booed as he came on as a second-half substitute, and a green light was flashing on his face for much of his time on the pitch.

Arsenal has issued a statement condemning the incident and confirmed that an arrest had been made after the game.
The statement read, “An arrest has been made following the use of a laser during last night’s match. This behaviour is dangerous and totally unacceptable, and we will fully support the police with their enquiries. We will obviously take the strongest possible action.”
The incident has been described as “dangerous and totally unacceptable,” and the club has promised to take the strongest possible action.
Mudryk had been a target for Arsenal before he moved to Chelsea, and his appearance at the Emirates Stadium had clearly incensed some Arsenal supporters.
The Football Association (FA) has also launched an investigation into the incident.
