The Canadian High Commissioner to Ghana, Myriam Monrat, is encouraging Ghanaians planning to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup to apply early for their visas to avoid last-minute challenges.
Canada will co-host the historic tournament the first to feature 48 teams together with the United States and Mexico. According to the High Commissioner, preparations are underway to ensure smooth coordination among the three host nations.

She also warned prospective travellers against depending on middlemen or unverified agents, stressing the need to use official application routes to avoid fraud.
