Apostle Safo Kantanka Confirmed Dead
The Safo family, together with the Kristo Asafo Church, has officially confirmed the death of Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo.
According to a statement released by the family, Apostle Safo passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
“With profound sorrow and deepest grief, the Safo family and the Kristo Asafo Church announce the peaceful passing of Ghana’s beloved man of God a towering technological icon, philanthropist, agriculturalist, and industrialist,” the statement read.

Apostle Safo was widely celebrated not only as a spiritual leader but also as a pioneer in Ghana’s industrial and technological development, best known for his innovations under the Kantanka brand. Beyond his technological achievements, he was admired for his philanthropy and unwavering dedication to empowering communities and nurturing local talent.
The family described him as “a true genius, a beacon of hope for many, and a father to the fatherless.”
The statement, signed by his daughter and former MP Sarah Adwoa Safo, noted that funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course, while respectfully requesting privacy for the family during this period of mourning.
Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo leaves behind an enduring legacy of faith, resilience, innovation, and service to Ghana and the African continent.
