Amaarae Showers Praise On Shatta Wale In New Video

Ghanaian pop star Ama Serwah Genfi, popularly known as Amaarae, has publicly expressed admiration and deep respect for dancehall artist Shatta Wale.

Describing him as unrivaled in Ghana’s music scene, the “Sad Girlz Luv Money” hitmaker showered praises on Shatta Wale during a party she hosted on April 28, 2025, at Republic Bar in Osu.

In a surprise moment mid-performance, Amaarae energized the crowd by performing Shatta Wale’s hit song Freedom, using the opportunity to commend the artist.

She acknowledged that, despite the controversies and criticisms surrounding Shatta Wale, his ability to consistently draw support from fans is remarkable.

“Nobody touches this guy, no matter what,” Amaarae declared. “Shatta Wale can come and insult all of us today, but tomorrow, he’ll drop a banger, and you’ll feel him. I have never felt anybody the way I feel for this guy.”

The event, hosted by Amaarae on April 28, 2025, at Republic Bar in Osu, drew a number of notable figures from Ghana’s entertainment industry, including singer Efya, TMSKDJ, and model Annabel Rose.
