Akwaaba-Obaake Dispute: We Are Wasting Time On Petty Issues – Prophet Kofi Oduro
General Overseer of the Alabaster International Ministry, Prophet Kofi Oduro, has expressed disappointment over the ongoing controversy surrounding the “Akwaaba-Obaake” saga, describing it as needless and a distraction from more pressing national concerns.

Addressing his congregation on Sunday, Prophet Oduro lamented that too much time and energy is being invested in trivial matters while critical issues affecting the country’s development remain unresolved.
“We are wasting precious time debating over pettiness. Issues like this should not consume the nation’s attention when there are far more important problems confronting us,” he stated.
Prophet Oduro further urged both leaders and the public to rise above what he called “unproductive quarrels” and instead channel their efforts into matters that will bring lasting solutions and progress to Ghana.
According to him, the fixation on minor controversies exposes the misplaced priorities of society, adding that true maturity lies in focusing on substance rather than distractions.
His remarks come in the wake of heated debates on social media and in public discourse over the use and ownership of the expressions “Akwaaba” and “Obaake.”
