Agradaa Is Now In Prison – Crime Check Boss Explains Earlier Denial
Ibrahim Oppong, Chief Executive Officer of the Crime Check Foundation, has explained why he felt compelled to address the public regarding the delay in Nana Agradaa’s transfer to Nsawam Prison.

Speaking in a recent interview on Okay FM’s Ekwanso Dwoodwoo with Nana Romeo, Mr. Oppong emphasized that his remarks were not driven by malice but by a desire to set the record straight.
Nana Agradaa, also known as Patricia Asieduaa a popular evangelist and self-proclaimed spiritualist was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being convicted of defrauding her followers through a controversial money-doubling scheme. However, despite the court ruling, her transfer to prison had not yet been completed when rumors began to circulate suggesting she had been harmed while in custody.

Mr. Oppong dismissed those reports as entirely false, stating they unfairly portrayed the prison system in a negative light. He clarified that Agradaa had not yet arrived at the prison due to procedural delays.
He explained that the delay was strictly administrative, as the necessary legal documentation, including the transfer warrant, had not been finalized at the time. Furthermore, he noted that her sentencing had taken place on a Friday that coincided with a public holiday, making it impossible to process her transfer that day. She was eventually moved to Nsawam Prison on Saturday.
Mr. Oppong reiterated that his only intention was to correct the misinformation and ensure the public had accurate information.
