Ghana’s Producer Price Inflation Drops To 24.4% In March
Ghana’s Producer Price Inflation (PPI) fell to 24.4 percent in March 2025 from 27.6 percent in February, according to provisional data from the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS).
This represents a 3.2 percentage point decline, with a marginal month-on-month change of 0.6 percent. Sector-specific data revealed notable shifts: the Mining and Quarrying sector, though still the highest, dropped significantly to 35.4 percent from 43.7 percent, while Manufacturing rose to 22.8 percent from 20.8 percent.
The Information and Communication sector maintained the lowest rate at 4.1 percent. Other sectors, including Construction and Accommodation and Food Services, saw modest decreases.
