Lady Lucy’s Food For The King 24 Concert, Was A Great Success
On Sunday, February 4th, 2024, Lady Lucy orchestrated her annual live recording concert, “Food For The King 24,” at the Church of Pentecost Kwadaso Central in Kumasi. The enchanting sounds, expertly managed by Mozey, filled the venue with an unsurprising serenity. Distinguished figures like Mr. Chris Agyeman, CEO of Taabea Company Limited, and Mr. Dan Bassey, aka Bassey Mix, graced the occasion.
The event commenced at 4 pm with a prayer, followed by the soul-stirring performances of songs like “When the Glory Comes,” “I Get Backing,” and “Hallelujah Eh” by Minister Emma Kusi and his team. Frank Mensah Jnr took the stage next, delivering powerful renditions of “Nea wode me a be dru yi,” “Medawase Agya,” and “Se me hw3 adea way3 a ma me.” Unique to FFTK24 were the prayer sessions interspersed with musical intervals. Joyce Aboagye, accompanied by the Da Heavenly Levites band, led a compelling worship session, with Sandy Asare later igniting the atmosphere with her new single, “Woka me ho.”
The audience joyously expressed their worship through dance and song. The session concluded with a slow worship, transitioning into another fervent prayer on “God have mercy on me.” Mabel Okyere maintained the worshipful atmosphere, ministering songs like “Animonyam” and “Ode a ba.” Apostle Jerry Gyamfi then led a fundraising segment for Lady Lucy Ministry. As the moment arrived for Lady Lucy’s spotlight, the DHL band set the stage with an introit, and BVs, led by maestro MD Nana Quophi, emerged on stage from the darkness. The BVs began with a rendition of “Look and Live” hymn after which Lady Lucy joined them, her worship journey encompassed familiar songs like “Onokwafo Agya ee” and “Awurade Y3.” Joshua Ahenkorah came up and joined Lady Lucy to minister some songs. One of which was an original titled “Adonai Elohim”.
This song kept ringing in my mind even after the event. This song will be an anthem of worship for the nations. Joshua then broke into spontaneous worship and took it to another level. The evening concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Lady Lucy, expressing gratitude for the support. The concert ended with a triumphant praise session featuring three of Lady Lucy’s original compositions, leaving everyone refreshed and revived.
