After 25 years in gospel music, veteran artiste Grace Ashly has announced that the next phase of her ministry will focus on mentorship and community outreach.

Speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Grace Ashly said she wants to use her experience to guide young gospel musicians and support communities in need.

“Beyond the anniversary event, I plan to mentor younger gospel artistes and embark on community outreach programmes. This is the beginning of a new phase of service,” she shared.

She explained that mentorship has become a strong passion for her because she understands how much guidance can help rising artistes. “I’m also looking at outreach projects that combine music with social impact, especially to support underprivileged communities,” she added.

Commenting on today’s gospel scene, the Yenie hitmaker praised the growth of Ghanaian and African gospel music but cautioned artistes not to lose the spiritual foundation of their craft.

“Gospel music has grown in creativity and global reach, but we must protect its spiritual depth so that it continues to transform lives, not just entertain,” she said.

To young gospel musicians, she advised: “Stay rooted in God’s Word and prayer. Focus on ministry, not fame. When you stay true to your calling, God will open the right doors.”
