Lady Mercy Agyemang-Elvis, the wife of well-known Ghanaian preacher and senior pastor of Grace Mountain Church, Pastor Elvis Agyemang, has shared some lovely words of wisdom with single people who are getting ready and holding out for the opportunity to wed their “ideal” mates in the future.
Lady Mercy made it quite apparent to all singles in a Facebook post seen by Hypesmediagh.com that if they are seeking for the ideal partner to marry, they will wait a lifetime. She claimed that all one needed was someone with the desire to imitate Christ and to continue to develop into Him.

She went on to say that everyone who attends church is justified by Christ’s righteousness and has not actually changed. To her, they are only beneficiaries of Christ’s obedience and righteousness.

If you are looking for a perfect human being to marry, you will wait forever. You just need someone with the heart to be like Christ and to grow into Him day after day…The Bible says the heart of men are desperately wicked. You just can’t know it. Again, scriptures say there is none righteous. No not one! Everyone you see in church is covered by the righteousness of Christ. In reality they have not changed, they are only beneficiaries of Christ’s obedience and righteousness. The only hope is when the person accepts the call to grow into the character of Christ. You don’t need someone who will promise to love you to the end. Men are not that good to fulfill their promises. You just need someone who is eager to be like Christ. As they attain to that stature, they will eventually love you without babbling many words to tickle your ears.
