Sam George Refutes Claims Of Owning Dzata Car

The Minister of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Sam George, has firmly denied claims that he owns a vehicle bearing the customized number plate DJATA, which has been making rounds on social media.

Addressing the rumours in a post on X, Sam George clarified that the vehicle does not belong to him, stressing that those who know him are aware he spells his nickname as DZATA, not DJATA.

“My attention has been drawn to this video and the attempt to suggest the said vehicle belongs to me,” he wrote. “The claim is FALSE!”

He added, “I appreciate the well-wishes from those thinking I’ve acquired a new car this year, but I haven’t bought one yet.”

Sam George emphasized that his current priority is the awaited response from DSTV, expected no later than Monday, July 21, 2025.

“Thanks. 🦁🇬🇭” he concluded.
