Ghana Police Arrest Two Men Over Viral Video Of Boy’s Abuse In Elubo
The Ghana Police Service has arrested two men in connection with a disturbing viral video showing the abuse of a 12-year-old boy in New Ankasa, near Elubo.

The suspects, identified as Issah Moro (58) and Suleman Abdul Rashid (27), are accused of brutally punishing the child over a missing GHC 200. The abuse reportedly involved tying the boy with a rope, beating him with a cane, and applying pepper to his body.
Police have confirmed that the child has been rescued and is now safe.

Both men are currently in custody as investigations continue.
The Elubo Police’s swift action has drawn praise from the local community and child rights advocates, who say the incident highlights the urgent need for stronger protections for children and greater public awareness around abuse.
