Speaking on her radio show on Accra-based Angel FM, the Anopa Wim hitmaker called on the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) to take swift action against such religious leaders. She stressed that selling unapproved food and drinks on church premises poses serious health risks to unsuspecting worshippers who often trust these pastors for both spiritual and physical well-being.

Evangelist Asamoah further advised that any pastor intending to sell food or beverages to their congregation must first consult qualified health professionals to conduct medical screenings on members. She emphasized that such measures are essential to ensure individuals are medically fit to consume the products, thereby safeguarding their health and well-being.

The gospel singer also seized the opportunity to call out immoral behaviour among some religious leaders, particularly those engaged in inappropriate relationships with their congregants. She warned that such actions carry serious spiritual and moral consequences, urging pastors to uphold the values they preach.

Diana Asamoah joins a growing chorus of public figures speaking out against the increasing commercialisation of religious spaces. Critics argue that some pastors exploit vulnerable church members for financial gain, often at the expense of their health and overall well-being.
